Community ~ Tillamook
is located in Tillamook County, approximately 75 miles west of
Portland, Oregon. The present population is 4400 and growing
slightly. The community of Tillamook is rich in natural resources
and is founded in the industries of dairy, forestry, and fishing.
School District ~ Tillamook
School District #9 has a student population of about 1975 with 3
elementary schools, 1 junior high school, 1 high school, and 1
alternative school. Tillamook High School is an accredited, public,
four-year comprehensive high school that is a member of the 4A COWAPA
League of the Oregon Schools Athletic Association. Student
enrollment is about 675, the school mascot is The
Cheesemakers, and the school colors
are red and black. The high school was built in 1951 and remodeled
in 2005.
Staff ~ Tillamook
High School has 2 administrators, 2 counselors, 34 full and part time
instructors, as well as 28 support staff.
